Music has been a part of Sara’s life since she was first discovering her voice.  One of her mother’s favourite of Sara’s childhood stories, is that before she could speak in full sentences, she was memorizing her first song, Cyndi Lauper’s Time After Time.

Two months before her fourth birthday, she began piano lessons in Music for Young Children.  At the age of nine, her then piano teacher suggested to her parents that they start her in vocal training.  For the next 4-5 years, she was balancing piano and singing lessons, but at 13 or so, she stopped piano lessons to focus on her voice.  Years of recitals, shows and competitions later, she sings at every opportunity, keeping busy with her three young children.  One of her proudest competition moments was when one of the judges referred to her as 'Alanis More-or-less'.  Now, at 26, with her family by her side, she continues to pursue her dream of singing.
