My name is Tim McLean. I’m 47 years old and a single father of 2 great kids who attend the University of Western Ontario in London. I started playing guitar at 8 years old and it just felt natural to sing along. My first stage appearance was at Grade 4 Christmas show where Jingle Bells was a big hit, (lol), but entertaining was now in my blood.
At 16, I started playing steel guitar and have since done backup work for Michelle Wright and Jason McCoy. I also dabble with the banjo, fiddle and piano. I’ve been involved with Theatre Kent for a few years, acting in 3 different plays and am currently involved with the upcoming production of Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. I still have a strong desire to further my goals and this contest is a stepping stone to imagined dreams.
